Are you looking to bring more students to coding at your school? Has your principal asked you to start a coding club or to teach Video Game Design when you don't have a budget? This session will introduce you to Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. You will explore how this free, easy-to-use, web-based tool addresses basic coding concepts while serving as a digital canvas for student creativity. Participants will build several simple games together as well learning how to export games to small handheld devices like the PyGamer by Adafruit. Participants will need to bring a laptop computer.
